Description/Interesting Notes:
An old time example of this prized "ruby silver" from Chile!!! This specimen consists of a dense mass of intense
red proustite that hosts numerous well crystallized areas!!! One side of the specimen shows a broad group of
crystalline forms that are partially altered on the surface to an unidentified silvery gray colored species!!! This specimen
has gorgeous red color with areas of marked clarity!!! These old time Chanarcillo proustite specimens
date to the mid 1800's!!! Classic material!!!
