Proustite Chañarcillo, Copiapó Province, Atacama Region, Chile 6.45cm x 4.48cm x 3.08cm Ex. Ralph Heitman Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of proustite from Chañarcillo!!! These specimens date to the mid 1800's and are highly sought after today!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of ruby red proustite!!! This specimen hosts a broad cluster of complex crystals!!! Although the crystals are somewhat rounded, they have highly lustrous faces with sharp and complex features!!! This specimen has rich red color in even low light conditions!!! This specimen is way better than the pics show!!! The stunning color and brilliant luster make for a very impressive and striking display!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
