Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous, old time example of proustite from Germany!!! This speicmen hosts a very rich showing of intense, ruby red crystals of proustite on matrix!!! The proustite crystals have magnificent, characteristic ruby red color and bright, glassy luster!!! The pics hardly capture just how showy this specimen is!!! This specimen is loaded with sharp, lustrous ruby red proustite crystals!!! This specimen displays fantastically from numerous angles!!! This specimen retains an old affixed label that is dated 1849 (specimen is erroneously labeled as "argent + antimoni" which would imply pyrargyrite, however it is indeed proustite)!!!
