Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of proustite from this famous locality!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of proustite crystals on matrix in association with acanthite and calcite!!! The proustite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and pristine and exhibit lively deep ruby red color!!! This specimen is simply gorgeous upon close inspection!!! This specimen retains an old acrylic mount that was labelled by Lou Perloff as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
