A unique and showy example of proustite from Germany!!! This specimen is almost entirely comprised of deep, ruby red
proustite!!! On the front side of the specimen one can see numerous sharp, lustrous, ruby red crystals of proustite richly
scattered about on a thin dusting of unidentified grayish material - and on the reverse one can see that this "matrix"
is actually radiating groups of unusually elongated proustite crystals!!! This specimen is quite striking in person, and
simply incredible upon close inspection with a loupe or scope!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains an
