A fantastic example of pseudomalachite from a rare locality that holds the distinction of being the oldest mine in the United States - started in 1715, the Schuyler Mine!!!
This specimen hosts a very rich and striking showing of intensely colored pseudomalachite!!! The pseudomalachite consists of botryoidal crystals and
has a magnificent, slightly bluish deep emerald green color and bright, almost wet-looking luster!!! These old time specimens are quite scarce and seldom
available for sale!!! These historic beauties easily rival pseudomalachite specimens from other much better known localities!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
This specimen retains its original Wintringham label!!!
