Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of pseudomalachite from a rare locality that holds the distinction of being the oldest mine in the United States - started in 1715, the Schuyler Mine!!! This specimen hosts a very rich and striking showing of intensely colored pseudomalachite!!! The pseudomalachite consists of botryoidal crystals and has a magnificent, slightly bluish deep emerald green color and bright, almost wet-looking luster!!! These old time specimens are quite scarce and seldom available for sale!!! These historic beauties easily rival pseudomalachite specimens from other much better known localities!!!
