Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of pyrargyrite from this historic Nevada locale!!! Old time specimens from Nevada's silver boom days are extremely rare indeed!!! This specimen likely dates to the early 1900's!!! Examples of well crystallized silver bearing species are rarely seen from the famous historic Nevada localities and this specimen is a very impressive example for the locality!!! This specimen hosts a complex, darkly colored crystal of pyrargyrite on a quartz matrix!!! The crystal has sharp, lustrous faces and measures to nearly 9mm!!! Classic material!!! This specimen is from the collection of Neal Yedlin and retains its original box with Yedlin's handwritten label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
