Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of pyrargyrite and proustite from Cobalt!!! Specimens of pyrargyrite and proustite are both quite rare in Canada and this specimen is a remarkable specimen for the locale!!! This specimen hosts several complex crystals of both pyrargyrite and proustite perched on a smartly contrasting matrix!!! This specimen was acquired in an old collection and retains its original glass-covered riker mount with handwritten details on the back noting the species and locality with the word "RARE" next to it, as well as notes indicating that it came from R.B.
