Pyrargyrite

San Genaro Mine, Castrovirreyna District, Castrovirreyna Province, Huancavelica Department, Peru

1.55cm x 1cm x .76cm

Ex. Tony Nikischer Collection

Description/Interesting Notes:

A terrific example of pyrargyrite from Peru!!! This specimen consists of a pair of conjoined pyrargytite crystals that have glassy luster and dark red color!!! The crystals are terminated and complete with highly complex features and appear to be twinned as well!!! This specimen is sharp and brilliant in person and one can clearly see flashes of deep red throughout!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and is WAY better than the pics show!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
