Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of pyrite after marcasite from this unique locality!!! This specimen consists of a showy, brilliant cluster of highly complex pyrite crystal pseudomorphs after marcasite!!! This unique locality is known for producing characteristically complex pyrite crystal clusters!!! These pyrite clusters are actually pseudomorphs after marcasite crystal clusters!!! It was difficult to capture such a showy and complex, brilliantly metallic specimen in pictures - this specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen is loaded with highly complex pyrite crystals and plate-like groups of crystals!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains a museum label as well!!!
