Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of pyrite from Franklin!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, brilliantly metallic crystal of pyrite prominently perched in a characteristic calcite matrix!!! The pyrite crystal measures nearly 1cm and exhibits a complexly modified habit with sharp, brilliant faces!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
