Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of pyrite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a complex cluster of pyrite crystals in association with complexly altered chalcocite!!! The pyrite crystals are sharp octahedral crystals with complex modifications!!! The crystals are undamaged and brilliant!!! The pictures simply do not do this specimen justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the Albert Peppis Collection and retains its original label!!!
