Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of pyrite and quartz from this famed locale!!! This specimen consists of a
cluster of sharp, gemmy quartz crystals that hosts several pyrite crystals perched among them!!!
There is a large, prominent pyrite crystal that measures 3cm in addition to a few smaller crystals
scattered about!!! The pyrite crystal has been naturally split apart by the intergrown quartz crystals ( a very interesting
feature upon close inspection)!!! The pyrite crystal has brilliant metallic luster, razor-sharp features, and
complexly striated faces!!! The corners of the pyrite crystal show highly complex modifications upon close inspection!!!
The quartz points are sharply terminated and gemmy!!! Although the specimen is not pristine (there are some small dings), this
specimen displays magnificently in person!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of
Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen
PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming
days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY APRIL 4th!!!
