Pyrite with Calcite and Barite N'Chwaning Mines, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa 6.03cm x 3.78cm x 2.11cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of pyrite with calcite and barite from N'Chwaning!!! This specimen consists of a pyrite crystal cast of what was likely kutnohorite (or a similarly-shaped species) in association with calcite and barite crystals!!! The pyrite crystals consist of brilliantly metallic, sharp, complexly modified cubes that have a rich brassy golden hue!!! The calcite crystals are varied and complex and the barite crystals consist of sharp blades - both have significant inclusions of an unidentified slightly purplish red mineral!!!
