Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of pyrite from Ohio!!! This specimen consists of a broad vug in matrix that hosts a magnificent showing of highly complex diploid pyrite crystals in association with white dolomite crystals!!! The pyrite crystals are quite large for the locale, ranging in size up to 1.25cm!!! The pyrite crystals have a handsome brassy patina with slightly iridescent highlights!!! The crystals exhibit highly complex faces and modifications that are simply incredihle upon close inspection!!! The curvaceous white dolomite crystals provide a handsome accompaniment to the pyrite crystals as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
