Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of pyrite from Ohio!!! This specimen consists of a broad vug in matrix that hosts highly complex diploid pyrite crystals in association with white dolomite crystals and a lone peach colored calcite crystal!!! The pyrite crystals have razor sharp faces with brilliant metallic luster and exhibit textbook diploid forms!!! The curvaceous white dolomite crystals and gemmy, peach colored calcite crystals provide a handsome accompaniment to the pyrite crystals as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
