Description/Interesting Notes: An aesthetic and unique example pyrite from Ohio!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of rare highly complex, diploid pyrite crystals perched on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals exhibit amazingly complex, modified diploid habits that are unlike those from any other locality!!! Additionally the crystals show a striking and pronounced iridescence that really puts them over the top!!! The crystals have a gorgeous bluish, multicolor, iridescent metallic patina!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays gorgeously in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
