This specimen hosts a pristine, highly complex crystal of pyrite proudly perched on a small amount of matrix!!! The pyrite exhibits a complexly hoppered octahedral form that is so characteristic of this unique locality!!! The crystal is complete and pristine with sharp details and brilliant metallic luster!!! The crystal has an attractive multi-hued patina that shows various tones of gold coloration with iridescent highlights!!! This specimen retains an old Schortmann's label as well!!!
