A classic example of pyrite from this famous Spanish locale!!! This specimen hosts a striking, pristine cubic crystal of pyrite prominently perched on matrix!!!
The pyrite crystal is complete, razor-sharp, and measures an impressive 3.35cm x 3.16cm x 3cm!!! The crystal has brilliant, mirror-bright metallic luster that one can literally
see themselves in - in fact, you can clearly see my hand and wedding ring in one of the photos!!! This specimen is simply gorgeous in person - the pics hardly
do it justice!!! (Note: the great majority of these specimens on the markey have been stabilized or repaired and, as a rule, I do not buy them. However, we acquired
some of these in an old collection. I have inspected it with a scope and UV and found nothing, so if there was any such work on this specimen, it is undetectable and has been
expertly done)
