Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of pyrite from this famous South Dakota gold mine!!! The specimen is loaded with sharp, complex pyritohedral pyrite crystals aesthetically perched on a white dolomite matrix!!! The crystals have a fantastic luster that ranges from reddish to golden-brassy!!! Although this locality was a famous gold mine, specimens are not commonly seen on the market!!!
