Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of pyrite from Colorado!!! When I first saw this specimen I literally thought I was looking at a crystal model!!! This specimen consists of a razor-sharp, 100% complete, floater crystals of pyrite that has a handsome epitaxial coating of chalcocite!!! The chalcocite coating gives the specimen a unique, dark, gun-metal like color that is quite striking in person!!! The chalcocite coated crystals from this locality are often mislabelled as "Bravoite" in old collections!!! This is a killer specimen indeed!!! The crystal has small sharply defined modifications with textbook-perfect form!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
