Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of pyrite from this rare and long closed locality!!! This specimen consists of a showy knob of large, incredibly complex pryite crystals!!! The pyrite crystals range in size to over 2cm and are brilliantly metallic with a bright brassy hue!!! The crystals have curious, concentric striations and odd modifications!!! Such complex crystals, arranged in a rosette-like knob really make for a stunning display indeed!!! There is simply no way to fully convey it in pictures!!! This specimen was collected decades ago and retains an old label!!! This curious beauty is in magnificent condition!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
