Description/Interesting Notes: A unique, old time example of calcite with pyrite from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of complexly modified calcite crystals that host a rich coverage of sparkly, golden crystals of pyrite!!! The calcite crystals have marked clarity and luster and also host some pyrite crystals included within as well!!! The bottom of the specimen shows a thin, reddish layer of hematite as well!!! Although there are a few incomplete crystals, the specimen is quite showy and displays fantastically in person!!! Very unique material for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
