Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of pyromorphite from Connecticut!!! This specimen is a fantastic pyromorphite from Connecticut!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of green to yellow-green pyromorphite on a cluster of quartz crystals!!! The pyromorphite crystals have brilliant luster and marked clarity as well!!! The sides of the specimen show that the quartz shows a significant zone of amethyst - a noteworthy feature for this locality!!! Rarely do pyromorphite specimens consist of anything other than microcrystals from this locality!!! This is a magnificent Connecticut pyromorphite indeed!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Clifford Joseph collection as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
