Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of pyrochlore from Canada!!! This specimen consists of a calcite matrix that hosts a sharp, dark red octahedral crystal of pyrochlore in association with vesuvianite!!! The pyrochlore crystal is sharp, complete, and highly lustrous!!! The crystal measures nearly 9mm and has a distinct dark reddish hue!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
