Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible exampel of pyrochlore from North Carolina!!! This old time specimen consists of a single, huge crystal of pyrochlore with a second, smaller partial crystal in association as well as a small group of cyrtolite zircon crystals as well!!! This specimen is undoubtedly the best pyrochlore crystal I have ever seen from North Carolina!!! The pyrochlore crystal has very sharply defined faces and modifications!!! The cyrtolite crystals are sharp and lustrous as well!!! The pics hardly do this extraordinary specimen justice!!!
