Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of "Miesite" from the type locality!!! Miesite is the varietal name for calcium-bearing pyromorphite!!! This
specimen consists of a group of cubic galena crystals that have been partially coated by sphalerite, quartz, and prominent botryoids of Ca-pyromorphite (miesite)!!!
The underlying shape of the cubic galena crystals has made for an aesthetic showing of this rare pyromorphite varietal indeed!!! The
quartz crystals are razor-sharp, water clear, and brilliantly lustrous in person!!! This botryoids of miesite (ca-pyromorphite) are
billowy and pronounced!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays fantastically!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
