Pyrosmalite Nordmark, Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden 14cm x 10.4cm x 5cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of this rare species from Sweden!!! This specimen consists of a large plate covered with broad, complex crystals of pyrosmalite up to an incredible 3.25cm!!! The pyrosmalite crystals are present as broad, tabular hexagonal crystals that are incredibly large for this rare species!!! There is a significant amount of an unidentified tan, clay-like mineral species in close association as well!!! The crystals are much more apparent and defined in person!!! This is OLD 19th century material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
