A terrific, old time example of pyroxmangite from this historic Japanese locale!!! This specimen hosts numerous intergrown crystals of gemmy cherry red pyroxmangite!!! The crystals are highly complex with glassy luster and sharply defined features!!! The crystals have intense cherry red color and areas of gemmy clarity!!! There are other unidentified species in association as well!!! This is OLD material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
