Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of pyrrhotite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, doubly terminated crystal of pyrrhotite in association with a cluster of smaller pyrrhotite crystals!!! The crystal has sharp faces with brassy metallic luster!!! The crystal almost appears to be repaired, however this is a completely natural feature!!! The specimen has cemented itself back together - it is rigid and complete!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition all around!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and had originally been acquired in the early 1950's!!! Classic material!!!
