Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of pyrrhotite from Pennsylvania!!! Pyrrhotite specimens from Pennsylvania are quite rare and this is an exceptional example indeed!!! This specimen hosts a single 2.55cm pyrrhotite crystal with complex faces and characteristic brassy metallic hue!!! This specimen has been repaired, but it is not noticeable!!! While I rarely sell repaired specimens, I do make exceptions in cases where specimens are exceptional - such as this!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! A rare Cornog treasure indeed!!!
