Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of quartz from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of somewhat complex, doubly terminated amethystine quartz crystals that host numerous
quartz crystal pseudomorphs after calcite!!! The amethystine quartz crystals have an attractive lavender hue and marked translucence!!! On the sides and
reverse, one can see that these amethystine quartz crystals are actually doubly terminated!!! The quartz crystal pseudomorphs after calcite are present as delicate-looking,
disc-like groups of small, lustrous, quartz points!!! The pics hardly do this unique beauty justice!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and
displays magnificently!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JANUARY 6th!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
