Description/Interesting Notes:
An amazing, rare old time example of quartz with lithiophilite inclusions from California!!! This specimen consists of a
complex quartz crystal that hosts a very rich inclusion of pink lithiophilite throughout!!! The quartz crystal is well formed with highly complex
modifications and a sharp, complete termination!!! The lithiophilite inclusions range in size from microscopic to large, sharply formed acicular crystals!!!
The lithiophilite microcrystals have created a sharply defined pink phantom within the quartz crystal as well!!! The quartz crystal appears to be
partially doubly terminated as well!!! This specimen retains an old label
that references the J.G. Dixon Collection and dates it to the 1940's via a
Chuck Jordan notation on the reverse!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
