Quartz with Hematite inclusions Orange River, Northern Cape Province, South Africa 2.48cm x 1.34cm x 1.06cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and aesthetic example of quartz from Orange River!!! This specimen consists of single sceptered quartz crystal that appears to have formed as two successive generations of quartz!!! The smaller crystal "stem" has a bright red termination that punctures into the top crystal!!! The crystal shows both amethystine and smoky hues in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
