An absolutely amazing, singularly unique example of quartz from Dalnegorsk!!! This specimen consists of a parallel associated group of
curiously opaque quartz crystals that host a second generation of "herkimer diamond"-like quartz crystals, resulting in a complex multiply-sceptered
appearance!!! The second generation of quartz crystals also host very unusual inclusions, consisting of hollow, tan colored,
tube-like channels that all connect to the outer surface of the crystals at some point!!! These tubes curve and branch out in much the same
way plant roots do!!! Very curious indeed!!! Simply an incredible specimen that defies description!!! Absolutely fantastic in person - the pics hardly
do it justice!!!
