Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic combination of species from Hungary!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of quartz & dolomite crystals that hosts numerous well-formed crystals of sphalerite in association with bournonite and tetrahedrite!!! The sphalerite is darkly colored although some clarity can be seen in small areas!!! The tetrahedrite crystals can be seen tucked amongst the sphalerite crystals and have brilliant metallic luster!!! There are numerous small sprocket-like crystals of bournonite scattered about as well!!! There is also an unusual pseudomorph consisting of a single pyramidal tetrahedrite crystal that has been completely replaced by bournonite crystals!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and is quite handsome in person!!! There is a lot going on with this specimen - the pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J.
