Quartz with Chalcedony Zacatecas, Mexico 2.17cm x 2.1cm x 1.05cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A marvelously aesthetic example of chalcedony and quartz from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a single quartz crystal that has been overgrown with a "bulb" of translucent reddish chalcedony and subsequently surrounded by a halo of bright, gemmy quartz points!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged all around!!! The chalcedony coated crystal appears to be complexly doubly terminated and the entire specimen appears to be a floater with no point of attachment!!! This specimen is simply gorgeous in person!!!
