Quartz with Epidote Messina mine, Messina District, Limpopo Province, South Africa 5.9" x 4.23" x 4.19" 15cm x 10.74 x 10.65cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of quartz and epidote from the Messina Mine!!! This specimen consists of a very large, single quartz crystal that has numerous parallel associated quartz crystals around its base!!! The main crystal, along with many of the smaller ones, are selectively coated with green druzy crystals of epidote!!! The entire specimen is actually doubly terminated, with the bottom of the crystal being comprised of hundreds of tiny, complex faces that form a curious cup-like formation!!!
