Description/Interesting Notes: A unique, old time example of quartz and andradite from Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex, gemmy quartz crystal that hosts a pair of sharp, gemmy, yellow crystals of andradite garnet partially embedded within - in addition to numerous tiny andradite crystals!!! The quartz crystal shows highly complex features but is complete and undamaged!!! The garnet crystals have unusual yellow color with sharp faces and gemmy clarity!!! This specimen retains an old label from the collection of Edna D. Doughty as well!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
