Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous, old time example of quartz on malachite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of complex masses of lively green malachite that have been completely encapsulated in crystalline quartz!!! The tiny quartz crystals have terrific clarity and sparkly luster!!! Upon close inspection, it appears possible that the underlying malachite could be some complex blocky pseudomorphs after azurite as well!!! This specimen is quite showy in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
