Description/Interesting Notes:
A veru unique quartz pseudomorph indeed!!! This specimen consists of what was once a the calcite core of a septarian nodule (etched or weathered out of the
nodule) that was subsequently replaced by quartz!!! The specimen is simply stunning in person - looking like an exotic, other-worldly flower!!! The flower-like
forms are visible in every direction in 360 degrees!!! The specimen looks delicate at first, but one is surprised to hear its porcelain-like "ting" when tapped!!! The
pictures simply do not capture the dramatic three dimensionality of this specimen - it is a gorgeous, and very unique, showpiece indeed!!! I have never seen another like it!!!
Absolutely amazing in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
