Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of quartz and hematite from this classic locale!!! This specimen hosts an aesthetic showing of unusually large "beta" quartz crystals perched atop a matrix of massive hematite!!! The quartz crystals are razor-sharp, glassy, and range in size up to over 2.5cm wide!!! The crystals also host reddish internal phantoms that are pronounced when viewed on edge!!! Some of the crystals also host inclusions of brilliant, silvery, significantly sized crystals of specular hematite as well!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Howard Belsky!!!
