Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this very rare silver bearing species from the type locale!!! Let me start off by saying that this specimen
is way better than the pics show - upon close inspection in person this is a magnificent example of the species!!! This
specimen hosts numerous clusters and balls of bladed ramdohrite crystals in association with sharply formed crystals of
wurtzite!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or scope one can see that the ramdorite crystals are
quite rich and very well formed!!! The wurzite crystals consist of intergrown sharp, lustrous, hexagonal crystls with
some dark brownish highlights!!! A very rich example of this rare species!!! Interestingly, these type locality
ramdohrite crystals contain a significant amount of cadmium!!! This rare species is just one of only two mineral
species that contain both silver and cadmium!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This
specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony
Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28th!!!
