Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of red beryl from Utah!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of red beryl!!! The crystal has glassy luster, gemmy clarity, and choice, intense color!!! The crystal is complete and sharply terminated!!! Aside for some minor chattering on one edge the specimen is in magnificent condition all around!!! While most red beryls are significantly embedded in rhyolite matrix, and often hopelessly included, this specimen only has rhyolite matrix present along one corner and is quite gemmy!!!
