Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of "reinite" from Rwanda!!! Reinite is a varietal name for these characteristic pseudomorphs of ferberite after scheelite!!! This specimen consists of a pair of sharp, complexly modified crystals of scheelite that have been completely replaced by ferberite!!! The crystals are complete and in fantastic condition!!! This is a magnificent, old time "reinite" from this seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen retains an old label from A.L. McGuinness as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
