Renierite with Germanite and Associates Kipushi Mine (Prince Léopold Mine), Kipushi, Katanga (Shaba), Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre) 5.4cm x 3.26cm x 3cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of renierite and related rare species from the type locality in Kipushi!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of brassy orange metallic reneirite in association with purplish red germanite and a number of other species including sphalerite, tennantite, chalcopyrite, briarite, and other rare germanium bearing species!!! This specimen was suspected to contain gallite, which has yet to be confirmed - however it is an incredible specimen in its current state!!! It is a tremendous combination of rare Ge species in a stunningly colorful display of iridescent metallic species!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice - as you can see there is a LOT going on here (and much that needs investigating!)!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
