Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of rhodochrosite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp rhombs of rhodochrosite in association with a few scattered tiny crystals of pyrite!!! The rhodochrosite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, and large for the locality!!! The pics say it all!!!
