A terrific example of rhodochrosite from this seldom referenced locale!!! This specimen hosts a pair of conjoined rhodochrosite crystals perched on a
matrix of small quartz points and accented by tiny chalcopyrite crystals!!! The rhodochrosite crystals consist of complexly stepped rhombs that
have a rich bubble-gum pink color and highly lustrous, glassy faces!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the Colorado suite
of the Jenkins collection and retains its original label!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
