Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of rhodochrosite from the Mt. Monarch Mine!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic grouping of rhodochrosite crystals in association with tiny quartz points and druzes and sparkling pyrite crystals!!! The rhodochrosite rhombs are sharp, complete, and have rich pink color!!! The exposed faces of the rhodochrosite crystals are remarkably lustrous - just about as glassy as you can get for the species!!! The specimen is in magnificent condition - complete and undamaged!!!
