Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of rhodochrosite from Wessels!!! This specimen hosts numerous balls of highly lustrous pink rhodochrosite crystals perched on matrix!!! The rhodochrosite is present as balls of complex, highly lustrous crystals!!! The crystals have handsome pink color and a lively sparkle!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see tiny browish tan botryoidal crystals of an unidentified species scattered about the matrix as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
